About us

Rooted in
Craftsmanship

Our winery was founded on a respect for the land and a belief in thoughtful craftsmanship. From careful vineyard practices to hands-on winemaking, every decision is guided by quality and integrity. Each bottle reflects our place, our people, and our commitment to creating wines meant to be shared and remembered.

Owner & Winemaker

Lucien Moreau

With a lifelong passion for viticulture, our winemaker began his journey studying both science and tradition, apprenticing at renowned vineyards around the world. His deep understanding of grape varieties, climates, and soils allows him to craft wines that reflect both precision and personality, rooted in years of hands-on experience.

His winemaking philosophy centers on respect—for the land, the vine, and the seasons. He believes in minimal intervention, letting each vintage express its own character while guiding it with care and intention. Every bottle is a balance of nature and nurture, designed to capture the essence of the vineyard and the story behind it.

Our History

A Vision Takes Root

1987

What began as a love of wine and a deep appreciation for the land became the foundation of our winery in 1987. With a few acres, a handful of vines, and a belief that great wine starts in the vineyard, our founders set out to create something that would stand the test of time.

Those early years were filled with long days, steep learning curves, and plenty of experimentation. But with each harvest came a little more knowledge—and a growing conviction that this was more than a business. It was a way of life.

Our First Harvest

1993

After years of nurturing the vineyard, we celebrated our first meaningful harvest in 1993. It was a modest beginning, but an important milestone: our grapes had finally made their way from vine to bottle.

That first vintage established the philosophy that still guides us today. Patience, careful farming, and respect for the character of each vintage would always take priority over shortcuts. Every bottle would tell the story of the place and the season from which it came.

Growing With the Land

2001

As our reputation grew, so did the vineyard. Throughout the early 2000s, we expanded our plantings and refined the way we farm, carefully selecting varietals and vineyard sites that brought out the best qualities of our land.

We also began welcoming more visitors to the property. What started as a small circle of friends and neighbors became a community of wine lovers who shared our appreciation for good wine, good food, and time spent together.

A New Generation

2012

In 2012, the winery entered an exciting new chapter as the next generation became more involved in both the vineyard and the cellar. Bringing fresh ideas while honoring the traditions that came before them, they began exploring new techniques and new expressions of the estate.

The goal wasn't to change who we were, but to build on what had already been created. Today, generations of experience continue to shape every decision we make, from the vineyard to the final pour.

Looking Ahead

2026

After decades of growing grapes, making wine, and sharing our table with friends, our story continues. The vineyard has matured, our winemaking has evolved, and the community around us has become an essential part of who we are.

While much has changed since those first vines were planted, one thing remains the same: a commitment to making wines that reflect their place and are meant to be enjoyed with others. We look forward to the vintages still to come—and to sharing them with you.

The AVA

Grounded
in Terroir

Location is the foundation of great wine. Climate, soil, elevation, and exposure all influence how vines grow and how grapes develop flavor and balance. Our vineyard’s unique conditions shape each vintage, allowing the land itself to speak through the wine, vintage after vintage.
